Membership Agreement
- Community Strength: We believe that we are stronger together. By joining, you commit to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Freedom of Expression: Members are encouraged to express their ideas without fear of reprisal. We uphold the independence of artists in all forms of creative expression.
- True Inclusivity: Our inclusivity is genuine, not a box-ticking exercise. We welcome and celebrate diverse identities and perspectives.
- Diverse Membership: Our members are multi-lingual, multi-faith, non-binary, and open to ideas that challenge their perceptions. We value and respect these differences as essential to our community’s richness.
- Support for Own Voices: We actively support and publicise ‘own voices’ narratives. This includes centring the voices of First Nations people, refugees, immigrants, culturally/linguistically diverse, and LGBTQI+ individuals.
- Commitment to Social Justice: We stand for social justice through the written and spoken word and performance. Our collective is dedicated to promoting equity and challenging injustice through our art.
- Resistance to Colonial Narratives: We resist colonial narratives that dehumanise people of colour. We welcome and support creatives who produce work that critiques, challenges, provokes, and decolonises dominant white-centric narratives.

- Collaboration and Support: Members are encouraged to collaborate, offer support, and provide constructive feedback to one another. Our collective thrives on mutual respect and cooperation.
- Content Ownership: Members retain ownership of the content they create. By sharing within the collective, you grant permission for collaborative use and feedback, but your original works remain your property.
