On 1st March 2024, The Writers’ Collective hosted a special PEN Perth event titled ‘Spotlight on Palestine.’ A group of poets came together to share the words of Palestinian poets resisting erasure through decades of occupation. Held at the Centre for Stories in Northbridge, the event was a community-building, sold-out success, highlighting the power of poetry to bring communities together and foster resilience in the face of oppression.
